Deconstruction

Deconstruction

Our deconstruction mission is to reduce the solid waste stream and change the way the building environment is renewed by salvaging building materials through the deconstruction process and distributing them for reuse.

About the service

  • Deconstruction is our way of reducing waste. Don’t want your demolished house or those nice cabinets and plumbing fixtures all going into the landfill? Then deconstruction might be the way to go!
  • We partner with The Reuse People to find value in things in your house/building such as cabinets, doors, windows, light/plumbing fixtures, appliances, and furniture that you don’t want, and donate it to Habitat for Humanity so that they can be repurposed instead of going to the landfill.
  • Utilizing a 3rd party appraiser, a value is assigned for your donation for your use as a charitable donation on your taxes.
  • We will deconstruct your house and minimize the waste stream.
  • This also works with select demolitions depending on the scope of work.

SELECT SUSTAINABILITY

Giving Back

Select Deconstruction and Demolition is proud to partner with The Reuse People of America, Inc. to provide building owners the opportunity to salvage their reusable building materials during deconstruction or demolition as a tax-deductible donation. We use 3rd party appraisers to determine the value of the deconstruction donation to maximize the benefit to the homeowner with donations going to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill.
